What some people call the soft stuff is actually the bedrock of a well functioning team
- While good teams will generate results in good times, exceptional teams will do this in exceptional times too. Whether these times are good or bad. Team Coaching is about creating exceptional teams, built on trust, psychological safety and a shared why, how and what.
- Trust is the foundation of any exceptional team. Without trust people will not truly engage. Their focus will shift from the team’s goals to their own interests. They won’t constructively challenge each other or look at issues from each other’s perspective. Eventually they won’t hold each other or themselves accountable. Results will suffer and the team will fail. With trust teams will hold together and maintain their course even in during the most challenging times. What some people call the soft stuff is actually the bedrock of a well functioning team.
- Team Coaching is about creating exceptional teams. It’s about building trust. Once their is trust the team can move towards defining a shared purpose and direction (the why of the team), how they want to achieve it and what success should look like.
